Alt-pop-rock crooner Anthony Ortiz recently performed a curated set here in Los Angeles that pulled in a diverse crowd of tastemakers. The performance was part of a multi-artist experience for SCHOOL NIGHT, a regular live music event that showcases emerging talent where "chart-toppers and Grammy winners got their start."
Anthony, who was recently signed to FAB Factory's record label, Red Slushy Records, kicked the night off with a two-man set-up that saw the singer-songwriter paired up with his drummer, offering an intimate yet energetic act. His five-song set included his recently released single, "Fall For You," a pre-release taste of his "Love to Watch you Cry," and his 2021 hit "Hate Me." Oritz also blessed the crowd with swoon-worthy acoustic covers of Goo Goo Doll's "Iris," and The 1975's "Chocolate."
The rest of the night continued on with other amazing artists from around the world, including Lucy Park from London, Zinadelphia from Philadelphia, and closed out with Cloudy June from Berlin. Having already banked a number of brand new singles to be released throughout the summer, be sure to stay tuned for more live performances from Anthony Ortiz to come.
